Formed in 2003 to celebrate fifty years of living and loving
music, ABSOLON was brought together by Val Steinberg to satisfy a
specific Bay Area niche for musical versatility and adaptability
to any venue and occasion. Today, ABSOLON offers both listeners and dancers a wide variety of music styles, rhythms and sounds to enjoy including classic rock, blues, rhythm and blues, country, and country rock. A purview of our artist list displays a wide range of favorite artists, and we are adding more to our list every day. Our lineup includes highly seasoned veteran professional musicians playing drums, bass, lead and rhythm guitars, keyboards and synthesizer, with a dash of fiddle thrown in just for fun. The icing on the ABSOLON cake is the amazing vocal talents of Val, Patti and Jeff. Valšs vocals are vibrant, deep and powerful, while Pattišs voice is sweet, sexy and sultry. The combination is incredible, indeed! Jeff sings with gusto and adds that perfect three-part harmony that creates that special ABSOLON sound. The band is available for private events, corporate events, festivals and street fairs, as well as club work and currently plays at venues all over the Bay Area.
